Cairns Aquarium is Australia’s newest and most spectacular aquarium. It is the only aquarium in the world to exclusively showcase the stunning aquatic wildlife from Tropical North Queensland’s two World Heritage-listed areas – the Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics Rainforest.

    • TURTLE HOSPITAL TOUR ENCOUNTER
      Take an exclusive tour of the onsite Turtle Hospital to meet the sea turtles in our care. This educational experience lasts approximately 30 minutes and 100% of proceeds from the Turtle Hospital tour are utilised for food, medicine, veterinary care and operating costs.

      Get the most from your day at Cairns Aquarium with a Marine Life Encounter! Your guide will take you Behind-the-Scenes, so you can see how the Aquarium cares for its marine life. Hand feed the Cownose sting rays with their favourite food on a specially designed feeding platform. At the River Monsters exhibit, scatter feed the awaiting giant Freshwater rays and Barramundi followed by a visit to the Cairns Turtle Hospital to meet the sea turtles in our care.
